well, you want moisturizer so your skin doesnt get too dry and then try to compensate with more oil which then means acne.
look into a lotion for acne or sensitive skin. it will work for both problems.
what is your price range?
proactive as a great lotion you can get for cheap on ebay

You probably don't need moisturizer on your face if you have acne.
Your skin type is probably oily skin, which there are many treatments for, consult someone who knows at a pharmacy that can recommend a good face wash and face astringent which helps to keep your poors closed to stop more acne also there may be creams you apply directly to dry up the pimple. The best way to go is always to inform yourself about your problem and what is out there that could help you what is recommended it is easy enough these days with the internet to find a good site for this, also get a second opinion or share what you learned with a professional like a pharmacist or doctor. If your acne is really bad you may need a specialist which your gp can refer you to.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

Mosturizers replenish any moisture your skin may have lost. As you age your body changes and so does the effects of moisture in your skin. You tend to "dry out more" so to speak as you age. If you keep letting your skin remain dried out, it causes wrinkles and loss of elasticity. Use anything that says "noncomedogenic." That means it contains products that won't clog your pores but also make sure you wash and use an astringent to help keep your pores clan too and you shouldn't have a problem with excessive acne. (Also, use a moisturizer designed for your skin type. You wouldn't want to use something for dry skin if you have oily skin. The different components in certain things could cause you blemishes and the like if you're not using the right kind.)

With acne.. its a tricky deal!
Mud masks, over time are GREAT for some cases of acne.
SOme of them will moisturize while drying up problems.
You should get the most NATURAL-light lotions to moisturize with. Products for infants are cheep and have the right stuff in them for problem skin. Staying as natural as you can might me the right thing for you.. depending.

It depends what facial moisturizer you use. Typically you should use something non-comedogenic and un scented like the Aveeno sensitive skin facial moisturizer even though its like $10, it's totally worth it.
Mild soaps like Dove Sensitive skin are also good for acne. Using cold/warm water on your face to rinse is good. Hot water dries the skin.

I'm quessing you are on about moisturiser for your face? Well, if its natural, say.... The vaseline one then i spose it should be fine. I'm not too sure on oil factors though you miht want to talk it out with a pharmacist or something, they will know whether its good for acne or not.

Moisturizer is useful for dry skin, to soothe skin. If it feels
okay, apply it and wash it off. Do not scrub your skin as it
is sensitive. Prescribed medication for acne should be
used at another time. Of course, ask your doctor

i have found that aveno works very well, they make a kind just for acne-prone skin and although it doesn't get rid of my bad skin it helps to keep it under control...i also have found that dove is terrible since it has too much moisture, avoid anything that mentions how much moisture it has that will only make acne worse, at least it did for me
