As a pagan I celebrate Yule. How many non Christians celebrate Christmas? Probably not as many as you think, but they get get pulled into the trap of thinking they have to spend a fortune on presents and food, have no religious reason to celebrate but have children who expect the latest gadgets/clothes/games etc.
Christmas has not been about Christianity for decades, and it has been proved that Jesus was not born on Dec 25th, but how many Christians know that?

Im Atheist and my family is Muslim so I dont celebrate Christmas with my family i.e. no tree, decorations, presents etc.
I do give presents to my friends and say Merry Christmas to them (and vise versa), engage in Christmas festivities, take in the decorations and the sales etc. I just like the time and I just like the weather, the way the city is transformed and the people.

Well, I'm Jewish but I live in a Christian country. So what we do is kind of have a nice lunch on Christmas day, with family and friends, both Jewish and Christian. We give presents but we don't ever have an Xmas tree. It's a nice day even for non Christians. And besides, Jesus was Jewish, after all :)

Yes I do.

Do you believe that Santa Claus exists? No? Then why do you celebrate Christmas?

'Christmas' is just the excepted name for that particular holiday. People don't even say Christ - Mas. They say Crissmass, even the christians.

I do but just to make my family happy. I don't celebrate the birth of christ... I celebrate the 25th December because everyone seems to be happy on that particular day and I don't want to ruin it for them. When I was travelling last year though I didn't celebrate it because I didn't have to... if I had it my way, I wouldn't celebrate it every year.

A lot of people that are not Christian celebrate a form of Christmas, just not that name. Hanuka is the Jewish holiday, there are many more.

Since it is a pagan festival and now just a general holiday why not?

The ones who should not be celebrating are the Christians as if Christ was born the date is far removed from December!!!!!!

I celebrate it with a tree and presents, and Santa Claus. Again for the 100th time today, Christians stole it from the Pagans. So why do Christians celebrate it?

Sure, It's a time of renewal of spirit and celbration of family.

This time of the year was actually a time of pagan ritual for thousands of years before the Christian faith even existed.
Heck even the image of Santa that so many think of today was invented by CoCa Cola as a marketing tool.
