What do you believe spiritually happens if someone were to commit suicide? (both religious and non-religious but spiritual welcome to answer).

Spirtual beliefs are irrelevant. If someone is contemplating ending their life then they need someone to talk to and some serious help. In today's "me, me, me" society where people are only out for themselves, too many will slip through the net, sadly.

I believe that in order to commit suicide, often times, one would have to be absolutely beside onesself, without completely understanding the implications of ones actions. Because of this I think that as long as you have accepted Christ as your Savior, you will meet your Maker in Heaven. However, suicide is never the answer, regardless. But, if one was to be mentally healthy and still proceed to commit suicide, then that would be murder of your own soul, which is not taken lightly by God, I'm sure, and you cannot repent from that sin, since you will be dead. But, God is the ultimate judge, and I think I'll let Him do that! God Bless!

I feel it is their right.

My best friend committed suicide. While it left me absolutely shocked and devastated, I never thought he did it on a whim. People have their reasons and while I think if they waited and gave it time it may get better, it is not my life nor my say to tell them how to live or not live.

They would waken from it to find out what a big mistake they had made, and that what they were running from is right there with them. They will just have to tough it out and learn like the rest of us.

I believe ultimately decides-of course. But if happens fast w/ no time to repent, no mental defect-Hell. Long time before death comes,no repentance, no mental defect-Hell. Happens fast w/ no time to repent, problematic past-Heaven,I'd say.

I don't believe in spirits. I think everyone has the right to die as and how and when they choose.
