I am going to get down on my knees and say a prayer for all the poor suffering children and people in the world. I pray that [the OneTrue] helps them and grants them peace. I am praying for peace and love and understanding. Won't you please join me now?

Thank you!

Thank you to all the people who joined me in prayer . And to the haters - thank you also for reminding me that evil continues to thrive in this world - your hatred only increses my conviction.

Some people suggesed I should take action INSTEAD of praying. I argue that BOTH prayer and good works are necessary to make a positive impact on the world. The people and groups who do the the most good in the world tend to be believers - NOT atheists (e.g. Red Cross/Cresant, UNICEF, Christinan Childrens Fund, etc.)

Those who know God love love his creation and his children. Our prayes and good deeds will be rewarded. Likewise, you (evil ones) will reap the fruit of your inequity.

"Unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy - for thou renderest to every man according to his work."
Psalm 62:12

Yes I will pray with you for all of the poor and suffering people in the world right now. I am going to also say a prayer that all who will read this will look around them right where they are to see if there is a neighbor , who is suffering or carrying any kind of burden and that we will offer what ever we have to help them as God gives us....whether it be prayer, food, clothing, or money. I also will pray that none who reads this will be able to pass by a collection plate for the needy without stopping and asking God what they can give. Remembering that the scripture says in Matthew 25-44...."And the King will answer and say to them, ' assuredly, I say to you, in as much as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren you did it to me'. Also 1st. John 3-17..says But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

No thank you.
Instead of getting on your knees, get on your feet and do something positive for these people if you really care. You can make a difference why ask someone else to? That is one reason why things that could easily be done remains undone because no one wants to take it upon themselves to do the work. I will not get on my knees with you but i challenge you to get on your feet and be the difference you want to see. Organize peace rallies, send letters to your congress man, raise money and send to poor struggling people. That is SURE to bring positive rewards

I think the poor and suffering of this world need action, not prayer. Give to UNICEF, the Red Cross, or something.

Well that is very nice. When two or three agree in the name of Jesus it shall be done. I agree and ask The Lord to answer your prayer be it his will and for their highest good.
Thanks for your prayer. Amen!

No, sorry. I don't waste my time on futile engagements unless they happen in a bedroom or the backseat of a car.
