i went to the docter friday morning because i went into work and i couldent stay focused i was to sick . so i siad to myself that im going to the doctor to find out whats wrong. and i went to the doctor come to find out i have strep throat and 1003 degree fever. and she gave me dura forte suspension. wich helps with decongestion. and zithromycin to treat my streep throat. along with ibprohen just to make me feel better. i go back to work tommrow . im worried that if i take the dura forte before work im going to be as high as i kit as i am now. i never usually take medcine. please help.

Holy crap, I hope the medicine can be blamed for your spelling and grammar. A 1003 degree fever huh? Wow, it must have been quite uncomfortable when your blood started boiling at around 212. Anyhow you've pretty much got to make a choice to take the medicine and have your head messed up, or not take it and feel bad. Maybe after taking if for today you'll build a little tolerance and it won't be so bad. Most of the time it's just the first couple of doses that kick you in the butt like that, you should get used to it quickly. Good luck.

I was on a prescription that similarly messed up my neurons when I lost weight after I started it. Talk to the doctor and see what adjustments can be made.
Strep isn't something you want to mess with, so don't go to work until you are no longer contagious.
