That depends upon what you mean by last. Salted and smoked meats last a very long time. Beef jerky and other jerkies will last a long time. Keep them dry. Canned goods will last a long time if the canning process were done correctly. Basically, anything that is dry enough will last. Dried fruits and vegetables also last. Dried ice-cream will last. Just keep it dry.

No foods will "last forever", but many have a long shelf life. Like mentioned above, dried pasta, dried beans and such last for years. So do Twinkies according to legend.

Frozen items can last years! Fresh caught fish frozen solid in the deep freeze I've eaten after 3-4 years still good!

Dried would be my answer, scientists have planted beans found in graves of cavemen and the pyramids. So grains, cereals, legumes,fruit, fish, meat, and I'm sure there are many more. I find storage of foods interesting.

Ramen, when it's packaged and freeze-dried or however they make it. It has no expiration date, and is a solid cylindar. so it'll definitely last for a while
