You have heard it said that the Love of Money is the root of all evil. But the original sin, was the sin of PRIDE!
Satan only has sway over humanity, because we have an evil nature ourselves. That meaning that the good loving spirit in us. Is living within a physical body, to learn and grow. And the nature of that material body is to be selfish. (Self-protective).

The tool of Satan is the lie.
The servent of Satan is the one who believes his lies the first lie ever recorded is that you will not surely die.
The lie that God si not a righteous God and would overlook man's sin.
All men sin and all men die and salavtion comes through the lamb of God who paid the penalty fo death for all who will accept the atonement.

Actually, the first rule that I believe to know ... were all the ones in the bible...Ya know he was one of the archangel's... although they said that he fell, was cast out, or thrown down... he still knew those rules before he had anything else to work with.

satan doesn't have any golden rules. he just has one rule. "Do as thou wilt shall be the whole of the law"
There's nothing golden about that!

i think you are a little off, but on the right track. satan uses vanity to cause division among people.

first, he came to earth, posing as the son of god and now uses christianity to manipulate people to act immorally in the name of righteousness.

and, yes, he appeals to their vanity to keep them in the dark.
