It won't hurt you but anytime you mix alcohol with antibiotics, it completely destroys the antibiotics as if you hadn't taken them at all.

If you want to get well, stay off the alcohol until your prescription is completely taken.

When you drink alchol with any medication that requires medical prescribtion it can damage your liver. Since you have lupus, your immune system is already low, with the presence of alchol it can even cause more damage with your immune system. In addition, the alchol can sometimes counter act with medication which will cause the medication to lose its function. Therefore, I recommend that you either consume very low amount of alchol or quit drinking completely. Find something else to do for socializing.

Alcohol tends to stop the antibiotics from working.

It also has a caustic effect on the guts, which can already be a little tender after the amoxil clean the guts out.

Alcohol counteracts the effects of antibiotics so the answer to your question is no, also if you are in receipt of state benefits I am paying for your prescription that you are pissing up against the wall, loser !!
