we don't have any such day here in England, but for me it is unnecessary, I am thankful for my many blessings everyday.

Did you really hit the lottery?

I'll be your friend!

I am FOREVER GREATFUL for God, my lovng Father/Mother, and Creator of heave and earth.

He gives us life, without which we have nothing!

He also offers LIFE ETERNAL, with Him in Paradise.

That trumps anything others may have!!! God has been good to me. Gratitude is realistic DAILY!!!

Whatever gratitude we show, it won't ever be sufficient; we get bogged down and caught up in life, and never fully realize what we have. Those moments that we do have gratitude, however, are golden moments, times when the cosmos nods its head in approval at us, and appreciates that we have taken time to notice our life, and in doing so to honour it.

It's not often that we get it right, but it's the times when we do get it right that compensate for the rest. I'm grateful for those moments, rare though they are, and hope to have a few more of them before my time is finished.

Thank you again, Mark

I imagine it's half and half. I'm sure many people are grateful every day of the year. I know why I'm grateful, but I don't know that everyone actually sits down, makes a list, and compares it with others. That might actually be a good idea.

It is realistic. Sad we only use one day a year for that. Then we have christmas the most selfish day of the year. Terrible.

I am thankful every day. Thanksgiving is not a really happy time for me since all my family is dead. Neither is Christmas.

It is what it is.

I try to never pig out, lol.
