You can say that if it makes you feel better but I've had discussions off and on over the years with plenty of theologians and it still hasn't changed me one bit.
And your truth is only truth to you because you wish it to be so, it doesn't make it empirical fact.

I don't need to be saved from a sadistic, immoral, killer Jesus-God who drowned, plagued, and slaughtered millions (more than Hitler), conspired to have his own kid/self brutally beaten and killed, and repeatedly COMMANDED his followers to kidnap, rape, hurt, and kill others. He's fictional, and my moral standards are too high to ever worship him, even if he did exist.
