Brownie Bottom Pudding Pie Recipe Question?

For those of you who have tried this or for those of you who've actually made this pie, instead of making the brownie mix from scratch, do you use brownie mix from the store?? Also does it taste better making it from scratch or using the brownie mix, or is it about the same? I've never tried making it before, but I've had it before and I think it is absolutely delicious!!

anything from scratch always tastes better . I think the brownie mix would be okay . good luck and happy cooking .
