You start to mature and see some of the silliness inside the church circles and cliques. What do you do next in your walk?

Yes, hopefully people do mature, not always. I think any time you spend enough time to get to know a group you're going to see those group dynamics, it's not because you've matured. All groups of people do have some of those attributes though you should hope to see less of that in a Christian group. I'm sorry to say it still happens. Get to know those in the church who are more spiritually mature, those who walk the walk, and try to be loving to those who do not, encourage them in a gentle, loving way. Some churches are more spiritual than others. If you are in a church that does not help its members to grow, you may need to find another church.

You might want to “widen out” in your association with other people, including the older ones, whom you can enjoy as friends. (2 Corinthians 6:13) On the other hand, remember what Jesus said in Colossians 3:13,14: “Continue putting up with one another and forgiving one another freely if anyone has a cause for complaint against another…But, besides all these things, [clothe yourselves with] love, for it is a perfect bond of union.” However, if what bothers you is what is being taught in your church, then you should take into consideration that it is God’s will that all persons “come to an accurate knowledge of truth” and worship him accordingly. (1 Tim. 2:3, 4) God inspired Paul to foretell that in our time many persons would ‘have a form of godly devotion but prove false to its power.’ We are commanded: “From these turn away.”—2 Tim. 3:1-5.

Yes, we mature. I will make my church better place to worship with my own contribution. If you are mature enough, you do not need to leave your church. You work to make it a better church.

Well, historically religions progressed from many gods to one god; so the next step, logically, would be no gods!
