I've been trying to look for hours in my book, and on here for the quote "fortune favors the brave" from Macbeth...but cannot for the life of me find the scene. Anyone know?
Thanks!

“Fortune Favors the Brave”, a quote from the book The Aeneid, by Virgil. This quote means that good will come to the people who put others in front of themselves. This quote relates to many charters in a book called Sudden Twists.

i think you posted the question in the wrong section... anyways "FORTUNE FAVOURS THE BRAVE MAN" means that fortune (like love, wealth, etc.) comes to those who take risks (brave man). a man who doesn't take risk will only get so and so. Though there is a risk involve in taking risk, but it can be lessen when we calculate the risk versus the benefits. Economics and Finance term that as calculated risk. a man who just seats and wait for the apple to drop will only get a few apple (sometimes rotten). but people who take the extra effort to climb and get apples (though there is a risk of falling down and injury) get more and better apples.

It means that opportunity comes to he who is bold enough to take it, as a matter of fact.
