Biased? No, I don't think so. What part are you questioning? Those marines did get killed. They "lost a battle" because they were overwhelmed and had some bad luck.

P.S. It was a movie about the US Marines in a foreign country, based on a real situation. If you feel that US Marines shouldn't "invade" or "enforce a Peace" in a foreign country, I can understand that, but that doesn't make the movie biased.

Well in the book it gave you a militia man's point of view in addition to the ranger's point of view.. so I'd say it was a little biased in that it didn't really pay homage to any of the civilians that lost their families and friends.
