Believer - Surely you are not suggesting we avoid the "news media" who report on such things?

Bear in mind that this took place in Saudi Arabia a country with draconian laws- a disgraceful human rights records and religious secret police force. Will the West be as supportive to them as we are now when the oil runs out I wonder?

(hey- I come from the UK, which i realise isn't perfect)

I read about that. *rolls eyes* I should print it out for people who think Americans get divorced for some pretty stupid reasons.

This is horrible! Wives should only be divorced if they hide the remote control!

It would be wiser to look for good things in other religions instead of worse. There is a saying in India by a famous saint " I went out look for bad guys!, but when I look at myself, none is worse than me".

it applies to everyone. I am not islamic and i dont feel offended by what you just mentioned here, but it is doing harm in some way, and I hope you also realize that.

e.g. In Tsunami in Thailand, some of this christians charity refused to give food to people who refused to convert. So you think it was a matter of proud or shame and meanness? I dont want answer to that, But a request to think and look at fault at ours before raising finger to others. We all have our beauties and faults, just like everyone.
