Thanks for the responses. In your opinions what must I do to attain heaven? Scriptural references are fine or any other doctrinal reference. This is for a religious project. Thanks again!

Have you repented of your sins, and been baptized (immersed in water) ? Do you read your Bible, and live for Jesus a Christian life? Do these first, then ask God your question.

As a Mormon I believe that we had a pre-existance, where we lived with our heavenly parents. We chose to come to earth to gain a body and be tested. Following death we go to either Paradise or Spirit Prison. This depends whether you have been good or evil. During our time in either place, we will have the opportunity to hear the Gospel Since our memory of pre-existance and of the original plan of salvation will be restored, most will accept the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Even those in Spirit Prison will have had a chance to repent.
At the resurrection, we will be restored to our glorifed bodies which will be quicked to a degree of glory. At the Last Judgement we will receive a reward according to this degree of glory.

I don't think it would effect you to much, because you would be dead. If there is an afterlife, I really don't believe there is a place of horrible eternal suffering. Maybe what you believe is what happens. That would sort of be funny, all this religious squabbling over who is right and wrong, and it turns out everyone is right..

I'm a Christian, and if you die tonite your status will be good or bad, depending on how much you were loved here.
Oh, you mean in Heaven? That depends on your heart :)

Your status will be: DEAD
Who knows, your "soul" could be whisked away to an afterlife, or your body will bloat and fester like roadkill and return to the earth from whence it came uneventfully (with a funeral assuming you have next of kin or loved ones to take care of those grim details).

I am A Christian of the Apostolic Faith and It depends on what your status is with god! Are you Baptized in the Name of The FATHER,SON,and the HOLY GHOST??? Are you filled with the gift of the holy ghost?? Are you living like Christ wants you to live??

I don't know about all religions,but Jesus said that if you die in your sins where I am ye cannot
come.I don't know your status.I know you must
be born again to get to heaven.Have you been born again?Only you can know that.

Your status will be this: you will be in the afterlife. Whether that will be good or bad is for God to decide and not for us to speculate on.
