Well happy Saturday! First thing, if you want to be sober, you should find something to drink that doesn't have any alcohol. A cup of coffee, or a big glass of apple juice would do. Then, depending on how drunk you've already gotten, perhaps you should consider a nap!

getting sober is ridding your body of alcohol
if you go to AA it takes on a new meaning there is more to getting sober from that aspect than t o stop drinking
the inner soul searching and discovery of the things that cause you to feel neccesity to get not sober to begin are part of that getting sober
in AA you can be alcohol free for yrs and not be sober it you think you may have an alcohol problem and you need to get sober you probably are a alcoholic and start in the long process of becoming sober may be in order

Stop drinking, and play the waiting game. things like cafiene do not help sober you up, it may have some what of countering effects, but technically your just a wide awake drunk person with that idea, and it actually can become more dangerious to your health.

your liver processes 1 drink per hour so how ever many drinks youve had thats how many hours you will be intoxicated for. You could try to eat some bread, but squeeze it into a hard ball b4 you eat it, a couple of pieces should do the trick. Maybe drink some gatorade or powerade but no water it just makes you feal more drunk.

Depends on what you have to do right now. If nothing - drink some broth or salty mineral water and go to sleep. Hot shower or bath is very good. If you have such possibility - go to sauna with a a lot of drink (salt-containing mineral water). Make exercise if you are able to, probably it is the most healthy way, or walk in fresh air. If you have to work right now - drink a good portion of strong coffee.

it's very early to be drunk already. You can feel more sober by drinking coffee, water or throwing up. Also eating bread to soak up the alchohol. However, you will not be safe to drive or anything else until it just wears off.

only time will allow you to get sober...it takes time for your liver to metabolize the alcohol out of your system.
Go lay down and sleep...drink plenty of water before and you should be fine when you wake up.

Coffee, fresh air and cool water on your face. Lots of water and just having to hang in there till you are totally sober.

confident, very sober. interior the final 9 years, I even have in basic terms had 11 beers. each and all of the beers I had have been THIS summer season. in basic terms had to attempt beer back by using fact my Cyber chum likes beer plenty. :-)

Wait. Your liver burns off one unit an hour REGARDLESS of anything that you do! Cold shower, coffee, eating bread, whetever- will not make you sober up any faster.
