My black cat died this past October. We considered him good luck. He was 12 and we really miss him. Thank you for the article.

I have had 2 different black cats and neither of them were bad luck. Both were wonderful pets.
Thanks for the article, it's awful to think of people killing cats because of their color. I'm glad that someone is working to put a stop to it. We stopped killing 'black' people a long time ago, and this is wrong for the same reasons.

We have 3 black cats at home and people who believe that black cats are bad luck are just plain stupid and should be put down themselves, along with any freaking devil worshiper who sacrifices one. Its a cat, just like any other, who happens to have black fur. WOW.
