They are usually $1-$5. However with a male and female be prepared to be buying a lot more stuff when they have litters of babies. Two mice can have a litter ever 4 weeks of 10-12 babies, those babies can then breed at 6 weeks and have their own litters.
You are better of with a same sex pair, unless you want a ton of babies and numerous cages around to keep them in.

Most places where I've seen feeder mice sell them for under $2 each. We've had very mixed luck with adopting pets from feeder bins-- some have been fine after their initial fearfulness fades & became wonderful pets. We've also had mice & rats who had chronic health and/or behavioral problems. Our vet believes that this is probably due to the way feeder rodents are bred-- lots of inbreeding, crowding & no concern for the overall well-being of the animals. Also, feeders are usually completely unsocialized.
We've had much better experiences with mice & rats who have been bred as pets-- few health problems, *no* behavioral problems & much longer lives.
I assume you are aware that a female mouse can have a litter every 3 weeks & hope you don't intend to house the male & female together indefinately.

most pet stores carry them, mice are very cheap, and each one will cost only about $1-5, the main thing though is the price of the cage to keep them all in, a 10 gal tank is usually sufficent, and this costs anwhere from $10-25, but sometimes you will need a bigger tank, like a 20 gal tank, and this is a lot more expensive, costing about $30-60, also to keep them alive, food costs about $5-20, really depending on the size of the bag and the brand, and a water bottle is about $3-10
so the two mice and all of that together, you are looking at a price range from about $41-100 (the last number is insane, i never spent anything over $60 for all the supplies for my hamsters)

in order that which you recognize, the only distinction between "feeder" and widespread mice is how intently they are bred. they are the same species and breed, yet feeders are allowed to reproduce without interference, meaning there is extremely some inbreeding, over-breeding, and breeding of animals that are too youthful to assist a healthful clutter of offspring. because of the fact they are meant to be fed, there is not any concept positioned into genetic wellness or character. in case you prefer to get mice, don't get feeders. they frequently do no longer stay very long and are frequently extremely, extremely bitey through all those breeding subjects. Plus, they are extremely poorly cared for, the two on the breeding warehouses and interior the keep. Get your self some actual mice, or extra applicable yet some rats, that are far friendlier and extra clever. as far because of the fact the huge form is going, 3 would be a impressive decision the two in terms of cage length and team dynamics. in basic terms confirm you % one gender and persist with it! Mice breed rapid, and you do no longer prefer to flow from 3 to thirty in in basic terms some months.

Feeder mice are usually around 50 cent to 1 dollar. You can get them at most all stores that sell reptiles. But why are you getting feeder mice, they don't make good pets and are usually not very healthy.
If I were you I would just get mice that were meant for pets, and not mice meant for food. If you are getting feeder mice because you feel bad for them, all your doing is condeming 2 more mice to be fed. So just get mice meant for pets, they are usually about $5.
But, if you are getting them to breed to feed your reptile, then yes, about 50 cent.

At the pet store I go to feeder mice are $2.49 and pet mice are $2.99. Be sure that you use a good pet store. Where I got my mice they are clean and are treated for mites. They also breed their own mice. I went to another pet store that is closer to where I live but the mice come in from a breeder and they were covered in mites. We could actually see them on the mice.

some pet stores sell mice for a pretty low price and should be able to pick a male and a female for you
as long as you have one of each, you should end up with plenty of mice

They usually sell them at any place that carries reptiles. I'm not really sure of the price though.
