You are young and you may think you want to now, but you don't have the judgement of an adult. Especially if you fear pregnancy so much shows you are not mature enough to make that decision. You may not like my answer, but you will appreciate it when you are older.

Also I thought if a 18 year old had sex with a 16 year old it was statuatory rape?

Wow, how twisted up is that!! initially, I congratulate you for having the nerve to me mature and say something, even while all the different adults around you're behaving like morons. i'd advise that next time you notice an underage lady at your place, ask her if her mothers and dads know that she's seeing a 22 12 months previous, and that they might have an argument with that. you additionally can threaten to tell the mothers and dads your self...this would reason issues for you, yet whats up...it is extra applicable than something offender going on!

Pregnancy is the least of your worries!!!!

Do you know there are over 50 sexually transmitted diseases (STDS) common among teens and preteens today?

DID YOU KNOW THAT....
Any sexual contact will give you an STD
Condoms do not protect you
Some STDs can kill your baby if your DR doesn't know you have it
Some STDs can cause so much damage you will never be able to have kids
Most STDs have no cure - they are life long
When you have sex, biologically your are having sex with every diseased person your partner ever had contact with.\

if your sure that hes really the one you want to lose your virginity too, then make sure you have a condom ready in case he doesnt have one, in fact have 3 in case the first one doesnt go on properly, you could see your doctor about going on the pill to be double safe, but obviously you still need to use a condom to protect yourself from any std's. If for some reason he objects to using a condom then please dont go ahead with it, if he loves and respects you he wont mind using one.

Make sure you have your together private place and time, you dont want your first time to be remembered as being a rush job in the back of his car or anything.

Be sensible and good luck x

If he is not a virgin, have him tested for STD's. It is not that difficult to get one. As for not getting pregnant, use condoms and birthcontrol pills. But it may be wise to think twice about losing your virginity just because you feel like "he is the one."

i was in this situation a long time ago. dont do it if you dont want too. if you really want to, it will be a decision that is with you for the rest of your life.
as weird as it is, talk to someone (an adult) close to you. a parent is hard to talk to but if you know anyone else, talking to them about it is always safe. even if they say "wait till youre married."
whatever you do, dont rush it. if he loves you back, he wont make you. and, you wont have to in order to keep him.
Oh, and your sixteen. there are a lot of other guys to give your virginity to. make sure he's really the one and you wont regret it in the morning.

SAFEST BET: if you really are gonna do it. use a condom and be safe.
