Yessss.. to fully grasp the idea of the Absolute, we have to see its both ends.

The absolute (apparently) divides itself in two opposite poles of evil/good, positive/negative, shiva/shakti, white/black... in between these two opposite poles.... lies all the creation.

So nothing is evil in the absolute... evil is name of one extreme and good the other extereme...absolute is beyond dualities of good and bad, sin and virtue, happiness and pains

Absolute can not be understood in absolute terms.. to know the Absolute..... these two poles must be understood

Absolute power is in the product that transcends the limitations of the two and bring them in one. There is no greater example for this then family. The Male/female/child, the two polarities of male and female are opposite polarities that represent division, separation. TheChild is the Neutralizing force, the state of the two come into harmony and oneness. It represents the wholeness. This is a VERY big concept in Gnosticism, very very important. The two is perfected in the third, as the third is its balance, being one.

So yes absolute power is divided between the two, but divided that power dwells in a limited sense of duality or limited by its division, unable to manifest its glory. Only when the two become one will it be a possibility. This is the secret of the bridal chamber.

2 Clement, "Let us expect, therefore, hour by hour, the kingdom of God in love and righteousness, since we know not the day of the appearing of God. For the Lord Himself, being asked by one when His kingdom would come, replied, 'When two shall be one, that which is without as that which is within, and the male with the female, neither male nor female.'"

One cannot "loose the bonds" until one "loses oneself" and recognizes the shared power with the Absolute. To immolate oneself in the fire of transformation brings one, like the phoenix, rising from the ashes. The irony is that there can be no failure; all are "safe" in the embrace of Source, uniting sooner or later with the One from which all have separated. I am Sirius

There is the one. We are one. All is one. Two indicates duality. Duality is the old paradigm. One's absolute power is one. One needs no fail safe. If you want to use a metaphor and a phoenix then you must feel it is true for you. After the fire, when the ashes are blown away from the hands, behold the eternal one. When you grasp the meaning and reality of ONE you will be there.

I think I understand... well, this is how I understand it:

2 Nephi 2:11, 15 - http://scriptures.lds.org/en/2_ne/2/11,15#11 .

Rev. 2:17 - http://scriptures.lds.org/en/rev/2/17#17 ....

We overcome opposition and are reborn, step by step.

But as for absolute power... nothing like that exists, anywhere. God's power comes from being full of goodness and light (ie enlightenment), therefore, he has no power to do dark deeds.

Everything is in balance. Free will exists eternally. 2 Nephi 2:27 - http://scriptures.lds.org/en/2_ne/2/27#27

Love and Peace. :-)

On the day I was one I became two... I remembered that day. As a child and a father something happened to me and I did what was wrong because I was afraid and did not understand.
Do we remember?

When one is divided in nature (good and bad) they are completely dark and have only perceived power. When one is only good, well then they know the power of truth.

Absolute power cannot be divided by two. By doing so it stops being absolute power.

The other two things you mention I have no clue what are.

The Phoenix rising from the ashes is a metaphore for rebirth.

The two are one. When they embrace the third, the third realizes the divine love and becomes one with the two. Then there is only one.

Blessings and peace to all,
