Yes. Drink chicken broth and make sure you are up and moving around so you don't get weak. You can also drink those Ensure shakes which are loaded with vitamins and minerals. No orange juice because it is too acidic. Watch some TV but be sure to not lay around too much. Good luck, Sweetie.

A three week long flu is not normal. I really dont think there is anything you can do at point. Have you seen a doctor yet? Please add in your questions if you have or not, and if you did, what they said.
I have only had the flu twice, and they both lasted no more than four days. Three weeks is not like the flu. It could be something different, something that only a doctor would know how to treat.
Hope you get well soon!!

Hey Jess!
I remember your flu from weeks ago! I think you've given it a good chance to go away on its own. I definitely think it's time you see a doctor. Did you have a period of feeling back to normal since this started? If you did, you may have just had two back to back bad colds (maybe even ole flu and one cold). But if you've been continually sick this whole time, you have to get it looked at to make sure you don't have a secondary infection (like bronchitis or a sinus infection or even walking pneumonia). The doctor will evaluate you and decide if you may need antibiotics or if it's another cold and you just need to wait it out again.
Hope you feel better real soon.

Maybe you don't have the flu... Maybe it is allergies.
This happened to me once. One doctor put me on antibiotics. No help after 3 weeks. So went to another doctor and he gave me prescription allegy medicine. I thought he was crazy... but I cleared up in 2 days.
I had all the symptoms of a flu but turned out to allergies... couldn't believe it.

Because of the very nature on Influenza with it's many many "strains" ... a "Bad Flu" generally refers to a persistent/resistant strain characterized, in your case, by it's
signature, of being active and contagious for a longer period
as opposed to it's cousins. So you have a"Bad Flu" a strain that is resistant and persistent. Keep up your strength strength this ordeal and your recovery will be all the quicker.

If you have an herb store near you check out what they recommend. Herbdoc.com may take too long for you to get better with their products to come in the mail. But a good herbal shop or chinese medicine place should be able to help you quickly. Hope you get better really quick and back on the circuit.

This WILL definately treat your flu, when you have soup, put hot pepper flakes in them. You might not like the idea, but everything I get a bad cold having something spicy..really helps. It has to be chicken soup or anything like the noodles Ramen noodle soup they have some thai spicy noodles. Try it.

Get the book More Natural Cures by Kevin Trudeau and follow his instructions. I used to get sinus infections 4 times a year and I haven't been sick since June.

You probably should go and see the Dr. If you are throwing up then they can and probably WILL give something to calm your stomach. If you have had the head cold with muscle aches, it may have turned into some kind of infection, where they may give you anti-biotics.
IMO, see the Dr. and start feeling better!

You have to rest and take in plenty of fluids and eat regularly but light. Chicken soup, toast, tea, juices. Nothing too heavy or fatty. Sleep is very important. Get plenty. And take
an ADVIL if necessary.
I battling a pretty nasty cold too but I think I have it beat about now..
Good luck! : )
