I am really confused. I love a girl but she refused. It was ok but she behaves abnormally, She talks to me sometimes and sometimes dont. Her behaviour is strange. This really distracts me and I am not able to concentrate on my studies for few days. I need a quick solution. Is smoking an answer?

Since you don't already smoke, then please don't start. I've been smoking for more than 35 years, have quit or tried to quit as many as 20 times. I did quit once for about 5 years, but never got over needing or wanting a cigarette. I didn't have the money to buy any until my check came in and went cold turkey for about 2 days. I was shaking, sick to my stomach, headaches, lousy attitude, screaming at everyone and constantly eating--and that's just a few of my symptoms of withdrawal. My grandson went through rehab and was told in the group counseling session that it's harder to quit smoking than to quit doing crack. Federal cigarette taxes have gone up 72 times since the year 2000 and going up again. The cheap brands in the store run about $18 - $22 Per carton and the more common brands run $28 - $35 per carton before taxes. I've heard that in some places, it's even more pricey. If you smoke a pack a day you will be spending at least $70 a month on cigarettes. Don't think that you won't smoke that much, you never know. I wouldn't go through a pack a week when I first started.

Don't smoke. Just concentrate on your studies. Girls will come and go. Don't let her ignoring you be a distraction, ignore her while you're doing your work and maybe the lack of attention will get her coming to you instead.

Self discipline and not smoking is the answer. I am a smoker and I have tried all kinds of methods to stop. It is expensive, you smell terrible, and it is soooo hard to quit once you start.

Avoid the young lady if she has that bad an influence on your studies.

I have only one real regret in my life and that is smoking.

I stopped after 20 years, but the damage is still there, even after 10 years with no tobacco.

Smoking does no good, there are no positive effects from smoking, only negatives.

You will make up your own mind. But it's expensive, smells, and has no positive effects.

No.No.No.No.

Smoking is not an answer, just like drinking and drugs aren't answers.

Go out with your friends, or go to a movie, or do something that will distract you and help you not think about it. Those are HEALTHY things to do. There's nothing else you can do really other than wait it out.

Smoking is toxic.... chew some gum or someting.... type in "pics of smoke damaged lungs" on yahoo search engine and then see if you want to smoke. No girl is worth that. Except the Virgin Mother and I'm sure she wouldn't want you to smoke. Plus, you know they put airplane fuel in cigarettes?

Why make things so complicated?---
If you see dark why going darker?---Make a wise decision, I´m sure you know how...keep going with your life not admitting any distraction. Sometimes we want people based upon our whises, but they´re not and you can´t make great changes in them. So why complicate your own life with someone else´s complicated life?---
step forward,,,,and you´ll see the difference....

How in God's name would smoking help this problem? If you just woke up, and logged on, then I'll understand. Otherwise, it's a pretty stupid question.

Don't give yourself a lifetime bad habit that could kill you for a girl that doesn't like you. Try meeting new girls and hanging out with friends. Being rejected sucks but you don't have to be stupid too.

Smoking is never an answer. You need to find a girl who isn't so psychotic.
