We ran out of her holistic Innova dry and canned foods. Well actually their still a bit of dry food left. My mom said the dry food was low and she told me to give the cat Whiskas pouched giblets multi pack. that she bought for our cat 5 weeks ago for some unknown reason. I didn't want to because Whiskas has disgusting stuff like meat-by products, that could very well be sick euthanized animals that still contain euthanisia. My mom forced me. I tried to tell her about how bad Whiskas was. But she told me just to give it anyways me anyways. Will it make my girl sick? I will try to get another can and bag of the Innova cat food ASAP.But in the mean time will my cat have any stomache upsets etc etc?

The vast majority cat section people are so clueless about what goes in to your pet's food. you guys obviously don't care do you? whatever's on sale is what you guys go by, not whats best for your cat.

Dnaleri wild cats eat pretty good if you ask me. They only eat natural food with nothing added. A lot of people are turining to feeding their cats and all natural diet of raw meat and the cats are thriving. I however just don't have the time so i feed whatever's closest.

Good for you for feeding your cat healthy food!
As far as the Whiskas stuff, your kitty might have some stomach upset but other than that should be ok. It's like a person eating at McDonalds every once in a while-think about it like that.
How much dry food is left? You could just keep them on the dry food until you can get to the store for the good stuff, if you're really worried about the Whiskas.

I don't think your cat will suffer untold disasters from eating the odd Whiskas pouch, but I agree that it is best you try and get your regular food. Your cat may not even like it but if she does, make sure to keep remind your Mum about checking the label. Show her the difference and why you feed the cat the holistic Innova, which I am not familiar with. Whiskas is very bad for the cat's teeth and if your Mum insists on the Whiskas, inform her that she mustn't complain when your girl ends up facing entire dental treatment and can she afford that? I concur with your concerns and think you are right to not take the easy way out. People fall into patterns and once they think its ok to slip in an inferior type of diet, you will not notice.
Thumbs up for standing up and holding your ground. Your cat and your Mum will thank you one day.

My 9 year old male cat won't eat anything but Whiskas pouches. He is healthy and beautiful. Cats are meat-eaters by nature but will sometimes eat some vegetables mixed in.

A meal or three of the junk won't kill you cat--but do get her good food back ASAP.
Before I was "enlightened", we fed our cats Whiskas and other even cheaper brands, and they lived 10-15 years seeming more or less healthy. However, it's not worth risking it and feeding your princess crap for her entire life. But you know this.
Good luck!

I strongly support you in your opinion on the Whiskas. It is atrocious food and no cat should be on such an unwholesome diet. The pouches are the worst FORM of the Whiskas too!

i don't think animals used for food are euthanized, I read they're shot with an air gun, i think it was... But yeah I don't think your cat will die if it eats it the only thing is it's not used to it so different food might be weird for it anyway regardless of whats in it.

Don't worry. Whiskas is not that bad. Millions of cats eat it and are fine. If her stomach is upset it will be becauise of the change and not because of what is actually in the food.
