I feel for you, It's very worrying but don't give up on your medication and have a look at alternative remedies.

For years I've watched my daughter, an asthma sufferer just like you, struggle with personal battles with her breathing. We did everything the medical experts wanted us to do but sadly, she isn't getting better long term. We are now researching alternative remedies which a lot of asthma sufferers are having great success with. We are considering acupuncture and herbal treatment. Here is one company I found on the internet that is specialising in naturatherapy for asthma sufferers. I think it's worth taking a closer look. http://www.realretirement.info

You need to work with your doctor - even severe asthmatics can have good days where they are not short of breath. You need to have your medications adjusted or new ones added. You also need to be doing peak flows daily to see where you are each day and have a plan for adjusting your medications according to your peak flows. This requires a lot of fine tuning by your doctor but will be worth it in the long run. Make an appointment now and get started. Maybe you also need to see a pulmonologist to help with this.

I'm so sorry you have to live with this! I can feel your pain. Maybe one day they'll figure out how to cure it for good and then us asthma-sufferers will have a jogging party or play a good ol' game of soccer or something........... :) Keep your chin up!
