I am writing a short paper about photography in the 1920s, however I need info...all I've got is the internet to get stuff, so if anyone has web sites or names of photographers from the 1920, that'd be awesome! I'm not set in a topic so anything from the 20s will work, just not beyond 1930. please help!

I'm a photography student and I have been searching the internet, I've just been coming up dry. the net is a big place and unless you know just what to type you get a whole load of crap..I'm not asking that you do my research for me, just asking for a few ideas that I may not have come up with yet or a photographer that I dont know yet......thats all I'm asking...I'll research it, I'll write it, just asking for ideas

Google Ansel Adams, Alfred Stieglitz, Paul Strand and Edward Weston, to start. The 20's were a fantastic time of innovation in photography. The Center For Creative Photography, part of the University of Arizona, was founded to preserve and promote the works of Ansel Adams, and hundreds of others. You can arrange for private viewings of original photos there, as a private citizen and free of charge. Adams left negatives to them in his will, for printing by visiting photographers....not sure what the procedure is for being able to do that. They have a great website....enjoy!

Also, look in the Library of Congress website.

loc.gov

They have a large collection of images, going back to the earliest days of photgraphy.

The world is at your fingertips. Surely you know how to google.

It never ceases to amaze me the number of kids that come to this site and expect us to do their research for them..
