Most of you who have studied Islam know of abrogation. For those of you who don’t- when Muhammad had a divine revelation from Allah and then later got one that would contradict the first, the first would be considered abrogated, or, in other words, declared null, and be replaced by the “better” revelation. As anyone who studies Islam also knows, the ninth chapter of the koran is the last chapter to be “revealed” (the koran is in order of size- not chronological order). The last revelations, which include “the Verse of the Sword,” teach Muslims to exterminate all infidels. So, since it teaches war it is clear all the early verses that taught peace are abrogated. And that means Islam is a religion of war, not peace, as so many Muslims would have us believe.

I shall list a few verses below, including The Verse of the Sword.

"Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war." Qur'an:9:5

"Fight those who do not believe until they all surrender, paying the protective tax in submission." Qur'an:9:29

"Fight them and Allah will punish them by your hands, lay them low, and cover them with shame. He will help you over them." Qur'an:9:14

"Fight the unbelievers around you, and let them find harshness in you." Qur'an:9:123

"You cannot weaken Allah or escape. Allah will disgrace the unbelievers and put those who reject Him to shame." Qur'an 9:2

It's not everyone. It's mainly the Liberal Media, who hate Christianity so much, they'll even use the obviously flawed islam as a weapon against it. 'Abrogation' is a ridiculous concept to apply to a perfect, all-knowing god. Obviously, this one ISN'T. And he's got a pretty strange way of demonstrating that Islam is a religion of 'peace'.

OTOH, Satan has been a liar and a murderer from the beginning. He's also known as the god of this world.

Anyone want to take bets on 'Allah's' true identity?

Good question. I forget who, but some political commentator called the notion of Islam being the 'religion of peace' a 'polite fiction'. He asserted that this 'polite fiction' was necessary to persuade Muslims to be rational and moderate; I disagree with him on that (such tremendous lies, for whatever reasons, cannot be good), but agree that many continue to pretend that very violent and belligerent ideology simply is not violent or belligerent. It is absurd.

Thank you for speaking out. Islam is a religion of falsehood and deception and Almighty God is not in their religion and those who believe it are being deceived by Satan. Mohammad is a false Prophet and was never anointed by Christ to hold this divine office under God. Search the scriptures in the Holy Bible, They show how God anoints His Prophets and Kings and He is raising up those believers who are called to hold this very office unto Him, even now. Where is the evidence that God called and anointed Mohammad? When the Disciples were called of Christ and anointed and told those to go and make other disciples to anoint them as kings, were they commanded to kill others and force them into salvation? No! They were told to go and proclaim the good news about being freed from sin, being anointed as kings and making heaven their home . They are given His love and power and had no need to make war with anyone but willing to give their very lives for the sake of others coming to Christ. This is not the way of Islam and those who are deceived by any man made religion shall not make it into the coming Kingdom of God , save those who have the Holy Spirit of God abiding within them.. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that WHOEVER BELIEVES in HIM, (not Mohammad) shall not perish but have everlasting LIFE..John 3:16 The Holy Bible. Thanks for your research...

Disbelievers in Allah? Does Allah not translate into God? So who are the unbelievers? Those who believe through another religion, or those who don't believe at all? It seems to be vague. Besides, I think that almost all religion wants peace. It is just mans interpretation of the words that corrupts it.

Why would divine revaluations being nullified by later ones give a sense of credibility to a religion. As far as I'm concerned, this concept just adds to making the religion a shining example of being made up.

Abrogation huh ?I had a neighbor who smashed everything when he was drunk and then restored the damage when he was sober. I wonder if we could call that abrogation too?
