Darlene,IDK if you checked out that bread bakery on jefferson hwy.but it's a shot.I live in metairie and loved the ciabatta from sav a center.they got it frozen and baked it but I loved it for making brishetta.it had the best taste but now rouses don't carry it.
the place on jeff.hwy.is in river ridge before sauve rd.on right side.there is also a french bakery, don't know name, but been there.on west napoleon and transcontinal.two french women, they don't speak english but bake some great breads and pastries.not cajun french, paris french.
if you see my ciabatta please let me know.
