I really prefer "hydrocortizone 1%" to Vagisil. Vagisil burns me. The Hydro really stops the itching, but if lasts more then 2-3 days, you have to see a doctor.
Don't be embarrassed, sweetie!! The doctors see vaginas all day long. They are there to help you. That's their job! You can have a lady doctor if you want. And if it's a man, there's always a nurse in the room. They might just want a urine sample!!
Anyway, the "Hdydorcortizone 1%" can be found at ANY drug store. Generic is fine. It WILL stop that itch. Hopefully for good. Drink lots of water and cranberry juce. :)

Could be a yeast infection and you can now buy Monistat in the drug store (not sure about the spelling) There is a lotion that I use all over for itching and does help "down there" called Gloves in a Bottle....if you can find it. (garden/or fabric shops) You can get on line with them and they can tell you who in your area stock it
