i am having difficulty to focus on things.sometimes it takes me 2 seconds just to see the things that i am seeing. i think my eye muscles are too weak to see things. and i also become sensitive to light. it makes me dizzy sometimes.

what do u think is the problem?

i am suffering dizziness when i am pushing myself to clearly see the thing in front of me,.but they are not black, its just like they magnify, seeing the things is heavy for my body. its like i can go off balance because of that..
another thing, i am wearing glasses for about 2 years. and i think i really overused my eyes esp when i am using the computer. i really push myself, i only stop when i feel like vomiting due to dizziness.
btw, i am only 20.

may be you are nearsighted and your glasses are over-corrected and you have spasms of accommodation , can you please go see an eye doctor and tell me what he told you .

See an eye doctor. You may be right about the eye muscles being weak.

I've been wearing glasses for 16 years, 6 months ago I started getting the focus problems, sensitivity and dizziness you described. I saw my regular doctor first, who then referred my to an ophthalmologist. Due to my general fatigue, my eye muscles weren't working properly. I just needed bifocals, to ease the strain on my eyes between seeing near and far. This was an easy solution!

Again, see an eye doctor, hopefully you'll just need glasses.

EDIT: Make an appointment ASAP with your regular doctor first, to rule out other causes of dizziness and visual problems.

Go with Hasafer ,as he is an Eye Doctor and knows what he is talking about.
You should be careful asking stuff like that here as there are very few people who actually know what they are talking about.
I guarantee your optometrist will say the same as Hasafer has said!
Good luck your eye sight is too important to mess round with.

i think you need an eye exam, sounds like an accommodation problem, but you need an eye doctor to have a look at you. i would be concerned about the dizziness however and you may want to go to an urgent care center or ER to get checked out first and they can get you a referral.

could be hyperopia or presbyopia...refractive conditions. depends on your age and visual demand. unlikely to be nearsightedness based on those symptoms.

need to see an optometrist
