* I agree with everyone who anwered "queso" however Jeff H deserves some credit for humor. He also brings up an important point about what is called "lexical replacement."

In other words, there is a small possibility that "velveeta" could someday replace existing words for "cheese" in some dialects of either English or Spanish and become the new word for "cheese. "
