Islam is supposedly the religion of peace. So why do so many Muslim countries have governments that terrorize it's citizens? This includes jailing and executing rape victims, executing homosexuals, and persecuting non-Muslims citizens. Why does this happen in the religion of peace?
And don't "blame the media." The media is just showing what is happening.

Don't generalize and think that people hate Muslims. There are people out there that are just hateful in general and that's wrong. There are many people out there that don't hate in that way. I don't and strive to love everyone no matter what. There is nothing wrong with being Muslim if that is what works for you. &&& Woahhh. That is not the American way!!! Bomb Iraq and Afghanistan. There are hateful people that think like that everywhere, but MANY MANY MANY people would never want to do that. EVER! I don't judge you are hate you but don't say those hurtful things about America. That's NOT the American way. There are hateful people here, but not everyone is. Don't say hurtful things about America when that doesn't apply to most people. There is nothing wrong with being Pakistani or from Afghanistan or Iraq, or from anywhere - there are horrible things that have happend but just because they have happened it doesn't mean everyone is a bad person. You're not a bad person right? It would be pretty easy to assume that most people are like you and are not bad people either.

Maybe they took a few lessons from watching Bush do his dirty work. Listen there is no need to attack Islam on this matter. There is good and bad in all communities, that doesnt mean that Islam is wrong. Your telling me that you dont get bad Christians? Jews? Hindus? Don't study Muslims study Islam. People who are doing these evil acts are not following the true teaching of Islam.

Because when you subtract or add something to Islam, it's not Islam anymore!
Take Iraq during the time of Saddam Hussein. His greatest idol was Joseph Stalin, not an Islamic figure. The policy of mass graves, persecuting Muslims & non Muslims (including some of his family members), raping, etc. All was inspired from Stalin.

Because the Islamic world still lives by the Hammurabi Code of Laws, which by the way is very close to what you read in the Old Testament. BUT, Mohammad inter-jected his words into Gods mouth like many other religions of the world and thus you have murder, chaos, confusion and mayhem.

Homosexuality is a crime against Allah, and expressly forbidden. Allah will forgive male homosexuals if they ask for forgiveness, so then they will not be executed. But if they refuse to repent, there is nothing cruel in following Allah's decree. Promiscuous women are a blight upon society, for they corrupt good men and turn them from the path of Allah. Society must rid itself of these destructive forces.
Westerners are lost in the lies of Satan where women are objects that expose every portion of their anatomy, and men are wild, untamed beasts that follow their lowest instincts. THat is why women in the west are constantly raped, yet they do not realize that they are inviting these very dangers when they forgo all modesty and invite the lust of men. This is because christians and jews have turned their backs on the true teachings of Allah.
In Muslim countries, people are moral and good and just. In the west, there are presidents who have intercourse with their interns, affairs and divorce are rampant, immorality and promiscuity is everywhere. You think that you are so good and open minded, but you embrace Satan's lies.

Because they still use RELIGIONS to rule their country. And religions can be cruel, especially when mixed with state. Remember what happened when churches had high powers in Europe in middle age? That's exactly what's happening now in the Muslim countries.

!st off, the media is mostly Atheists.
2ndly, I Understand where you're coming from, consider this.
A couple of years ago I had a dream that I was a Muslim woman living in one of those strict middle eastern countries. Well I did something purely accidently wrong (I think my toe was sticking out threw a hole in my sock) and this guy takes a whip that sorta resembled a fishing rod and he Whaked me a couple of times over my neck & head. Then Allah said to me in the dream "Aren't you glad you don't live over there?"
