yea...did it all the time when living in a dorm....and it tasted just fine....a microwave is just an alternative method for cooking so go ahead and use it...

Yep, they even make a microwave rice cooker u can get for $5 -$10. Its usually better if you don't cook at full power tho.. seems to boil over and make a mess.

I guess it's OK, but I haven't had much luck using a microwave.

All you have to do to micro rice is add water to make it moist and it tastes fine!

yes...but if its just plain rice without any sauce or anything, sprinkle some water of it for moisture
