Fruits are very high in carbohydrates, so although good for you, should be eaten in moderation. Buy organic if you can, then you have no worries about insecticides. Insecticides do penetrate the skins of some fruits, and goes into the fruit, so washing doesn't assure you're not ingesting any. Buying organic (has the "guaranteed organic" label), will eliminate that worry. (4-5 fruits a day is a bit much)

really bad in tins - if thrown at you!
OK - really good for you
its a bit of a fib about the sugar & acids for teeth
if you eat an apple (as an example) the sugar is great for you its natural sugar that the body can use - unlike refind sugar as its empty calories, confuses the body & causes energy spikes then energy lows & makes us overweight.
also for teeth - eating an apple is great as it causes your mouth to create saliva which waters down the sugars & acids
but - high concentration fruit juices - made from concentrate are really bad for your teeth & your stomach
its daft but you can not legally claim a health benefit from fruit & veg - ie FDA as its not a drug (I wonder why they do this??? something to do with porche payments I think)
protein - some fruit & veg do have protein naturally but look at baked beans - one serving is great - even cooked as it has more absorbable protein than any steak & without the negatives

lots of sugar combined with acids, this is a deadly combination for your teeth. In addiotn the sugar contained is fructose, some people are allergic to this (whereas allergy to sacharose and glucose) does not exist. Fruitjuices are even worse for sugar and acid content, Drink these before brushing your teeth and you are sure to loose your teeth over time.
The good things about fruit are vitamine c, antooxidants, essential minerals and fibers. Overall it is good to eat some fruit everyday but it can be overdone.

eat in moderation. fruits can get you fat but only if you eat way too much like i used to eat. make sure to add in Blueberries as well because they are considered a super food. have about 4-5 fruits a day.

Fruits are a good, tasty, nutritious food choice. They are loaded with water, fiber, vitamins C and A, potassium, and much more. And they are a low-calorie food.

Nothing is wrong with fruits, except they are a bit gasey. Also some people might have allegies to some.

All I know is they rot easier and do not have a long shelf life. Buy not so many and you can enjoy them more.
