Edmonton is the Best Place.. Still cheaper than Calgary and the oilfield is booming in the north.. In Edson Alberta Wendys fast food place pays their starting workers around 15 bucks an hour.. Beautiful province to live in anywhere you go...

All the jobs right now are in Alberta. There's still tons of cash to be made up in the oil sands.

Depends what field you're in though. Lots of job opportunities there right now but the cost of living has also gone up a ton over the past few years in Alberta. Rent for apartments and such is pretty substantial now.

On the whole though, the economy is doing pretty well across the country and if you have a university degree or some kind of specialized trade qualification, you can probably find work.

Well Alberta is booming right now, and I heard Calgary too so check out our government web site just type in jobbank.ca then follow the instructions and choose Alberta and the area you plan on moving to to do a job search and you can also research the housing market and so on. Good luck
