We get along fairly well with our neighbors. We lend the poor folk on one side a lot of stuff. We politely turn down the religious neighbors offers to attend their church. I've backed into the bus drivers ladies car from across the street. They didn't get mad since they have an overhead view of my driving and should have known better than to park there! LOL! We think the other Lady is, you know, because she only has lady friends over and we have never ever seen the Asian families children since they are in school and cause no trouble at all.
I always wave and smile to everybody else even though I don't know if they speak English or not. It's Canada, it's very multicultural and peaceful.

I love quiet neighbors. Especially the ones that park in front of their OWN house and respect your space. My neighbors are mostly friendly, and the ones that are "Shy" are just quiet and never talk. I have never even met the WIFE next door, although they have lived there OVER a year AND I have taken them cookies twice - once upon their moving in and also last Christmas. I just figure she's antisocial, but whatever.
I take my neighbors cookies. We all warn each other about the street sweeper coming at noon on Wednesdays. I can have 2 of them pick up papers if we're not home and I will take in their accumulated papers without being asked. I love my neighborhood. A true oasis in the middle of 92801.

Neighbors? What neighbors?
Each of the houses next to me are in foreclosures.
There is about 20 houses for sale in this neighborhood.
Oh, but we did get along. We looked out for each other.

well I had to complain to the city about them because the wall fell down and they have a pool. Of course the city went to the other neighbor's door on accident, so we really don't get along well with any of them.

I wish we could get along. From day one we got off on a bad note and we have always had friction between us. I accidentally reversed into his car. I admitted to it straight away and asked him to get quotes. Well.... He didn't show me all the quotes. He kept the cheapest quote. Any way, to cut a long story short, we asked him to see a friend of my partners up the road who is fairly priced...Not knowing, he had already got the quote and he was holding it from us.Tried to rip me off over 1000k.What a lovely neighbor..He was embarrassed when we caught him out! I had even offered him to borrow my car while his was getting fixed, I felt like going back on that offer alright afterwards....

I get along with all my neighbors, except for the couple next door.
No one on our street, likes them. They are nosy and intrusive, they act like their way of thinking is the only way to be, and try and tell everyone else how to keep their homes. They scream and yell at people, if they don't like your garden, flowerboxes, grass, color paint... etc... when people see them coming, they go the other way.

Some I get along with on a purely superficial basis. The ones who aren't really terrible people are gossips, though, so I stay away from all of them.
