You should really be seeking qualified medical help if you are indeed suffering 'severe' headaches when doing push-ups. It could be from a number of things. It could be from an unrelated medical problem or it could be that you are not breathing properly while you are doing the push-ups.

For push-ups, you should inhale on the way down and exhale on the way up. This is generally true for any resistance exercise, you should exhale during the work phase and inhale during the rest phase. You should not hold your breath while you are exerting.

Unless you are sick, the temperature shouldn't be an issue. If you are healthy and with the appropriate precautions, you can exercise in almost any natural temperature.

If no pproblem w/ blood vessels, get an evaluation by a Chiropractor to rule out upper cervical problems. Sounds like inflammation of the greater and lesser occipital nerves. If it were a blood vessel problem I would expect any exertional activity including running to aggrevate the problem.

Hi, when you do these push ups at that speed you raise your blood pressure very quickly, if you then get server pain at the back of your head the blood vessels in the back of your head are expanding causing pressure inside the scull, if the pain stops when you stop,,? I would suggest you go and see the doctor, any pain in the head should not be left to chance or to an inexperienced opinion on here
