Please go to the dance! I didn't know how to dance either, and I thought that everybody would look and laugh at me. Once I got over the fact, that nobody was staring at me, I got out on the dance floor....and just moved a little bit...then fled back towards the safety of the punch bowl!
Really...it's no big deal...there's more to parties than dancing. Lots of talking goes on too! Have fun!!!

definitely go. This is the time of your life to experience new things. If you can't dance just sway to the music. Hang with some friends. Just have a good time. It doesn't matter if you dance or not. You're probably not the only one. Let me tell you something, Just let the music move you, inside and out, before you know it you'll be dancing. You've got to feel the music, let it take you over, feel the rhythm. Even if you can't dance well, this will help some. I'm older and that's how I learned. And I've been told that I move very well, even for an old lady like me.
