Your statement is misleading. No religion in the world create any dispute at any level. Disputes are created by the followers and believers who have not understood particular religion with its aims and objectives properly. All religions are evolved due specific needs of societies at different places, regions and needs of the time. None is contradictory to other and all are for welfare and upliftment of masses/followers with physical prosperity and mental development to Godliness. What now needs is the proper & deep study of each religion, open debates on their aims and objectives with present context. If massess are educated properly, they will find out reasons for conflicts and miscreants will automatically be unveiled and iradicated out.

Religion aims at transcending human soul to higher levels.
Those who fight in the name of the religion are not true to their
own religion.
From time immemorial, there have been people in almost all religions who have fought within their own religious fold and with others too. They were directed to do so by their evil leaders,
If one were to sit in a corner and contemplate over all the prevailing religions in the world, he would not take long to discover that how much man's interference in religion has carried people afar!

religion dosn't cause disputes....opinions do. If there was no such thing as religion wars would still happen, people would still die, and the world would still be a violent place. People would simply find another reason to do the things they do.
What to do about it? Learn to live with it. As long as people have the ability to think for themselves and form their own ideas there will be conflict in the world.

Religions need to realise that fundamentalism can cause a lot of problems, and can completely turn people off religion.

If they want to believe that their religion is superior to all others then ok, but they need to be very careful when talking to other religions. Both parties need to avoid anger, and respect each other.

If a religious group can't behave reasonably, then we should remove the tax breaks that it currently enjoys.

(Matthew 7:12) . . .“All things, therefore, that YOU want men to do to YOU, YOU also must likewise do to them; this, in fact, is what the Law and the Prophets mean.

God originally purposed that all mankind treat one another as they would like to be treated. He set the finest example in expressing care for the welfare of others in the way he created humans: “God proceeded to create the man in his image, in God’s image he created him; male and female he created them.” (Genesis 1:27) This means that God lovingly endowed humans with a conscience, which, when properly trained, would guide them to treat others the way they themselves would want to be treated.

Many today suffer hopelessly and helplessly at the hands of thoughtless and self-centered people. Clearly, what is needed is more than simply not to do what is bad and harmful to others but, rather, to do what is good and helpful to them. Because of this, Jehovah’s Witnesses voluntarily take positive action to help others to learn of the marvelous hope found in God’s Word. When they call on their neighbors with the good news from the Bible, they do so in a spirit of love, doing to others what they would want done to themselves.

Education...
Typically, religious fanaticism goes hand in hand with ignorance. The more enlightened a soicety is, that is to say, the more well educated the average person is, generally the more thier religious focuses shift from rigid dogmas and intolerance to more of inner peace and spirituality. Additonally, secular government systems help with this. When religion is seperated from 'power', there is less need to fight over it. Also, people feel less threatened by other faiths, because no one is trying to 'impose' thier religion upon you.

Accept and respect others' beliefs. If everyone did this, it would be great. However, this is not going to happen.

Politics creates disputes and chaos as well.
What about banning politics? LOL, it won't happen.

Religion is not so much the problem as people's flesh is.Peoples selfish,self-serving desires and not serving the true and living God.God does not lead to confusion, man's sin does.

everyone needs to respect others beliefs. We are all different and do not share the same religion and many people do not understand that. They only see things there way, as the correct way. Those are usually the people that cause caos.
