Sneezing normally causes me to pass wind... so it can't be impossible, unless i'm a mutant and my X-men invite got lost in the post...
I think he's pulling your leg ;) or someone has pulled his leg and he is passing on the info :D

No it is not correct. When you sneeze the vasalva manouvre indeed tightens your anal muscles and closes the windpipe to ensure maximum explossive pressure to build up to eject whatever irritant tickes your nasal passages. However the pressure that builds up sometimes overrides the anal pressure causing wind to escape with a high frequency noise.

YES BECAUSE WHEN YOU SNEEZE YOU TIGHTEN THE MUSCLES YOU USE TO PASS WIND WITH AND THIS PREVENTS YOU FROM PASSING WIND.
