They do that stupid crap all the time. It's nothing new. One time I got violated for saying, "Okay, thanks". The hell with em (Watch me get violated for that)

If the answer didn't violate the community guidlines, challenge it. However, it you responded to a question by calling them a sicko, this could be considered a violation even if the question was a violation (2 wrongs do not make a right). If the question was a violation you should have either expressed that it was not appropiate and or reported it whit out resorting to name calling.

I got a violation for giving a phone number of a company who had no connection with me at all. I went to the trouble of looking it up in the phone book and someone decided I must have been the owner of the company and soliciting or something. It only takes a couple of people to crucify you. Get used to it. Cheers!

I have recieved violation notices for a lot less too.
Guess some just don't like being given hard, cold facts...or the truth. Maybe it hurts to much.

Still. I shall carry on regardless.

Yahoo's guidelines do sometimes protect abusers, though I don't think they are meant to!

The whole 'violations' thing is just out of control. I don't even bother to open them now, I just delete them. They hardly ever make any sense and you can't get a sentient response if you complain.

I don't get many anyway, so delete them and you've forgotten about it 5 minutes later.

I have gotten so many violation notices--for nothing at all--that finally I was suspended and have a new account.

*sigh*

You are in the right.

As long as you know that it doesn't matter.
