I am starting to self improve myself as i am overwieght and need to lose it.

Im wondering if yoga is great to do? what benefits such as emotional and pshycial will i be getting?

Yoga will take care of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual balancing requirements, in a gradual process, after you get the hang of it, and settle down with regular yoga sessions in about six weeks time, if you take it seriously! Good health assured, assuming that you complement yoga with healthy diet also to the minimum required extent! (you really don't have to give up a lot!)
