I'm not talking about not believing in god, I'm actually talking about people who think there's a god and hate him.

I'm asking cause of this question:

There probably are.

Some people who become atheists after having been previously brainwashed go through a misotheist stage in which they hate the god they worship before eventually realising that god just doesn't exist.

If good evidence for the Christian god were to appear I would end up becoming a misotheist (and maltheist) because that is an evil god that deserves our hatred.

Oh and Satanists don't really apply all that well to this, most of them are just atheists that are trying to piss off Christians.

'I just think it HIGHLY unlikley that God existed!'

ExistED? He didn't die...

Anyway, To all the satanist related answers, a quick google search should have really sorted you right out. Basically, Satanism is not the worship of Satan PER SE, rather self worship. The belief that you are important, and that you deserve worship. Bear in mind this is not the same as vanity, which sours the sould. It's all about respect for yourself and for others. I suppose the main difference is that the Bible preaches love and LeVey preaches respect.

But yes, I would imagine there are. Beyond a shadow of a doubt. Just as there are people who hate you, and I and any given person on this earth. There are people who hate flowers, people who hate birds; so why should there not be people who hate God? Well, 'god' is a very general term; while most major world religions have agreed to disagree, their god's are still so monumentally different. One might hate the restrictions that the Catholic god imposes. Another might hate the Muslim god not allowing consumption of alcohol. All in all, it doesn't matter. So long as enough people have heard of something, someone is going to hate it.

Now this question could be a bit tricky to say the least. I'll stick by the agnostic view until I meet with God the Almighty, until then I will stay sceptical about the whole affair. No I cannot hate anyone who I have never meet, although, there are a few that I wish I have never meet at all.

So smile everyone it is a nice day.

Just because something doesn't exist, doesn't mean people can't 'hate' (disagree, repel, argue) the concept of it, and the effects of belief in it, or what it stands for.

I certainly don't like what the JC and Muslim God stands for, even if i don't believe in it.

It stands for misanthropy; the belief that humans are fallen and wicked creatures who are born to worship it. i.e a despotic and vain creature who just so happens to think like an insecure Bronze Age male egotist with some woman "issues" and a mindset that far exceeds even the minimum requirements to be considered NPD.

I've heard Christians say they hate 'Allah The Moon God', but they don't believe in him.

Since atheists do not believe in a god then it cannot be them can it?!!!!

So the only people that can hate a god must be the people that believe he exists - therefore anyone hating god must surely be a Christian!!!!

People who go through life changing events such as losing a child or a loved one go through the hating of God. even people who believed in Him before. Some never get over it.

To hate God, you have to believe in God.

Edit: Funny how some are associating "hating God" with atheism. If an atheist hates God that means that they believe in God or the concept of a god. If so...............

............don't fight it.

I'm sure there are some out there.

I can speak for no one else, but as an atheist, I do not believe in your god...therefore, I neither love him nor hate him.

I have heard of people hating God when bad things happen to them. Mad at God for the trials He has put in their way. It is too bad when this leads them away, but when they can tell God how mad they are, this can strengthen thier relationship with Him. God doesn't put obstacles in our way that we can't handle. It means He has such great faith in us.
