Yes and No. Yes, because you exchange theological views. And No, because sometimes its just pointless to debate

I enjoy debates, but not arguments.
I don't like debating over whether or not there is a god, unless that argument has a theme (such as, but if there's a god then why ___). I DO like debating over different aspects of different religions, such as how literally the religious should interpret the Bible and how different religions are related.

I don't like arguments period. It usually implies more than just disagreement but a lack of listening. However I love debating. Which requires listening to the other point of view. Sometimes I change my mind, but usually I just grow stronger in my conviction.

No, I like discussion and debate, but not the kind of argument so many people answering this question are espousing. That leads only to more bitterness and conflict, but apparently some folks like bitterness and conflict.
Edit--See, I got thumbs down just for saying I don't like bitterness and conflict!

How DARE you ask a question like that! I'm gonna see to it that you are PUNISHED for that question! You hear me? Who do you think you are? I think yer just a jealous SINNER looking for a little undeserved attention! You better get down on yer knees right now, and beg Jesus fer forgiveness! Why, I think I'll pray to Elijah to call down fire from heaven and destroy yer city! If it weren't for vigilante zealots like me, this world would go straight to the dogs. I kin hear 'em now, barkin' across the street, tryin' to TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!!! Just wait'll my PASTOR finds out about this! He'll set choo straight, I guarantee it!
(It is right about at this point that I would quote 2 or 3 argumentative sections from one of Paul's argumentative letters...)

No. They generally are negative and unproductive. (2Timothy 2:23-24) I prefer a positive exchange (Romans 1:11-12, Philippians 4:8)

I do enjoy a good debate, but only with those who are respectful and tolerant of all faiths and beliefs. In fact, every now and again i like to be able to debate with someone and then switch the tables...having both argue for the opposing view.
Keeps things interesting and allows others to actually be aware of what it is they are debating for....

No. But I like to learn of other's faiths. I would like to learn more of certain one's, actually. I'm unimpressed there aren't more questions here on R/S. I prefer a good debate versus argument, anyday.

I didn't think we were arguing, but I've learned quite a bit from other Christians about the Word of God. I've also learned quite a bit about other religions and especially learned to love the atheists.

No, because it causes anger, and hatred. Take a look at Iraq, Iran, Palestine. I believe in the Holy Bible, and there is no room for discussion on the issue. I am closed minded to any and all else. I would rather live my life as if there is a God, and die to find out there isn't,
than live my life as if there isn't a God, and die to find out there is.

No, frankly I consider them a waste of time. Everyone believes what gives him the greatest comfort ... so why debate it? Why try to convert and show the other the "error of his ways"?
If everyone just minded his own business it would be a much quieter world.
