either boil or steam brocollli, baby corn, aspagous, peas, carrots and shallots, i then add a little herb butter, i a knob of butter and fry a little grated garlic, add more butter melt down take of heat and add finely chopped fresh parsley, corriander or chives.

Don't boil vegetables, steam them - it's faster and keeps more vitamins in the vegs instead of the water. As for recipes - cut the vegies into similar sized pieces to cook evenly and toss with butter, oleo, spices, olive oil when done.
