I have a 7 month old who does the same thing, But he has other cats to play with, The squirt bottle is fine I use that too, but you have to use the word "no" when he does things like jump on counters and tables and then set him on the floor, if you hit him and say no all he will do is see you as being someone who hurts him and he will be afraid of you, and that is not good. But as far as him playing with your feet you need more toys for him to play with, as you get up to walk have a toy in your hand and throw it so he goes after it instead of your feet he might surprise you and start playing fetch! I have one that does. You just have to be patient when it comes to him. Remember Dogs come when they are called, Cats take a message and get back to you when they feel like it! LOL

They grow out of it by 15 years old.

If I put socks on they assosiate them with work.
They hate me going to work.
I have 5 cats

He's a kitten, and he's male. That means he's going to be very energetic. He probably wants a lot of attention too.
He'll outgrow it eventually. But meanwhile get him neutered ASAP if you haven't already. That might help calm him down, and will help control other problems.
Good luck.

Neuter him, that will calm him. Also spray bottle of water really helps training. Won't hurt him and you can correct him from across the room. Good Luck!

it is hungry when you eat put food out at the same time you eat. he wants to play when he goes after your feet. put him out side when he does wrong or put him in a pet taxi until you get done with what ever you do.
