You need to look beyond looks.
You cant judge a book by its cover.
People probably think you are really ugly, did you ever think of that?
These women probably arent just on there because they cant get guys, many women today have careers and children, they dont have time for the dating scene.
So its not just for women who cant get guys, so grow up and stop being so damn closed minded.

You're the sort of person who needs to grow up - quickly.
Just because everyone in the world is not a supermodel stick insect like the media attempt to portray does not make them ugly by far. & why not bother?
In this day & age where life is full & people work long odd shifts the internet is a great way of meeting people because it can be looked at in a break, or when the boss has their back turned, or in the middle of a long lonley night shift for example - good luck to all those who go for it.
Personally I'd rather have someone with a brilliant personality & sense of humour than looks because over time looks will fade but the person underneath will hopefully remain the same on the whole.
I'm lucky, I met my fella online, we now live togeather, plan to marry & start a family & I in my opinion I have the best of both worlds - to me he's drop dead gorgeous & he's a brilliant person. If the next person who answered this met him, they might think the opposite.
It all goes back to every human being being different/individual - which is one of natures brilliant designs. The problem is small minded, stereotypical, ignorant, rude people like yourself.

I visited some dating sites and not all women are ugly. Do not generilize all the women there as ugly for beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There are some guys on dating sites who are also ugly. So its pretty fair. They may be ugly for your sight but for other men thay are pretty. Beauty is just superficial and in the end personality will still rule.

Misfit, not all females on these sites are really ugly as you have suggested. There are however many that misrepresent themselves, as there are males. Many people give photos of themselves back in the day when they still had looks, figures, hair etc. I was very fortunate about 4 years ago, while on a social networking site. I met a woman who became my bide almost a half year ago. While on there though there were many woman who were either losers or users and not all were 100% honest with their appearances either. So my best advice is to be careful when on these sites and watch out how much personal info you give out also. My wife and I chatted on line for many months before she even gave me her real name and finally her phone number so we could talk before actually meeting each other.

Actually I have met a few ladies on dating sites who are quite attractive. Haven't you heard that beauty is in the eye of the beholder? One man's dog is another man's babe. Let me ask you this question. What do YOU look like and do you have any room to talk about someones looks or lack of?
I am sure like most people who join a dating site, they are looking for someone to date and possibly be a life partner. If you don't want them, then someone else will.

You know, thats really shallow. People who use dating sites have tried love elsewhere and cant find it. They have lots on the inside, and thats what really matters to us guys who are worthy of them, you not being one of us. If you really are mature, you'll find a woman that attracts you both on the outside and the inside, but whats on the inside always matters more. Thats what real love is about.

because maybe they think they can find a man who likes her for who she really is. Have you ever heard of "Don't judge a book by its cover" well its kinda like that although they're ugly on the outside they can actually be beautiful in the inside.
