I can quite easily imagine flying horses, even though they don't exist. God, on the other hand, is truly beyond human conception That is because our concepts derive from the world around us, and are not applicable to God.

If you mean a concept of what sort of force or being created the universe and set down the chemical and physical laws that govern the workings of the universe and how life came into existence then yes whatever the force or being is it is far outside our understanding and only very arrogant people will claim that they do understand it. We get a lot of them on here
