need to take a break and have end of season most folks in the world work year round why not nascar? they could add lots more races and tracks to the schedule. yes they havent seen there familys most of the season but why not a 2 week holiday just like every 1 else. truckers are away from home months at a time and still manage to go all year. they could use the time 4 testing trying out new team members and drivers.

Where do think they could add more tracks ? Maybe if they went to Australia where it is summer they could race for the next 2 months. Racing gets old if they never take a break it's not a job, it's a sport. Feb.17, will be here soon and you can have your workers back on the job.

Weather is probably a big part of it. During the winter time, a lot of places see bad weather; snow in the north, rain in the south. With all the bad weather, adding tracks and races would just mean more of the rain delays that have made us all mad all season.

And this is their vacation. Most people spend the holidays with the families, and this gives the drivers a chance to do the same. Sure, there's a lot of time in between, but I'm pretty sure a lot of teams ARE testing during the break.

And, not to mention, all the other sports have an off-season. If they have an off-season, why shouldn't NASCAR?

I heard them say the stress from the job and being away from home is just too much. It is a so called sport too. You don't have baseball all year or basketball all year.
And for goodness sakes leave Australia out of it.Becker. They have one of the best series in the world down there and I would hate to see NA$CAR childish new rules and poorly run series infest there great series there. We would get to see it too but the NA$CAR channel I mean Speed only will show reruns after the NA$CRAP season is over and at time normally when every working person is at work. Of course that is when they show all there good stuff and put the crap on at night.
Sorry for getting off subject.

I think the fans need a break too. Don't most of you agree that the season gets old after Labor Day? After the end of the season, most of us are all fired up and ready for the new season.

i always thought that NASCAR should
run through the cooler months--from fall
to spring--when the drivers and fans
aren't roasting like lobsters sitting in a hot
car or on metal benches under a blazing
sun..ouch.

Weather. NASCARs can't run if it's raining, let alone icy or snowing. They'd all be off into the wall in the 1st corner if they tried.

Just because it sucks to be trucker, doesn't mean it should suck to be a NASCAR driver.
