It will show on her credit report if she doesn't pay it because they will send it to collections. I see cable and phone companies (including cell phone companies) on credit reports every day. They don't report the good history, only collections.

In this area the cable company charges the most for late payments. A $100 sounds like a lot though. Your credit report shows how many times you are late paying anything. I know I just checked all three of mine.

When was the last time she paid her bill? It has to be couple months before they charged her $100 late fee. Pull a free credit report to see if they report her account to credit bureau. I don't see my cable on my credit report.

The only way a cable bill would go on your credit report is if it went to collections

I hate late fees, i do not think so, i think you damage you credit report when you dont pay on time those services where you had to get it financed.
